24V lithium batteries

The usage time of 24V lithium battery depends on the power of the load and the capacity of the battery. Generally speaking, if the battery capacity is 200Ah and the load power is 200W, it can be used for about 5 hours (200Ah / 200W = 5 hours). If the battery capacity and load are different, the usage time will change accordingly.

A 24V lithium battery usually consists of six 3.7V cells connected in series. Each individual cell has a voltage of 3.7V, so the total voltage of 6 cells in series is 22.2V (nominal voltage), which can reach 24V when fully charged.

24V lithium batteries are widely used in power tools, electric vehicles, home energy storage systems, solar energy storage systems and various portable devices. They are popular for their compactness and high energy density.

The lifespan of a 24V lithium battery is usually between 3 and 5 years, or can reach 500-1000 charge/discharge cycles, depending on the conditions of use, depth of charge and discharge, and maintenance.

The main difference lies in the voltage and application scenarios. 24V batteries are suitable for small devices and low power applications, while 48V batteries are suitable for higher power devices such as e-bikes, hybrid cars and large scale energy storage systems. 48V systems can reduce the current under the same power, increasing efficiency and reducing wire losses.

Lithium batteries should be stored in a cool and dry environment, with a recommended room temperature of 15-35°C and an ambient humidity of no more than 65%. Batteries that are not used for a long time should be ensured to be charged and discharged every 1-2 months to maintain battery activity.

When charging, use a charger that matches the battery and follow the instructions in the manual. Avoid using too much or too little current for charging so as not to affect the battery life. Also, avoid overheating or impacting the battery during charging.

Depth of Discharge (DOD): Usually the recommended depth of discharge is 20%-80%. This means that each discharge should not exceed 20% of the total capacity and the battery should be charged to at least 80% after discharge as much as possible.
Best practice: Try to avoid deep discharging (i.e., batteries below 20 per cent) and deep charging (100 per cent charge) to prolong battery life and maintain good performance.
