This MPPT controller arrived on time. Was well packaged. It feels sturdy and was easy to connect and install onto my wall. The screw template help alot.The screen is easy to read and understand.
The control is fantastic loves the way that it was so simple to connect wires and like the color a lot as well. And it functions very well.
I am starting the install now. Looking at this product it appears well built. The design is solid and the two usb port work well. The display is clean and we'll thought out. I will provide a follow up review in two weeks.
5 STARS only because it can be used for charging up bigger systems but it still can only go up to 24 volt systems.
This can be used for emergency charge up and if done right, it can charge a battery to run a smaller 8k AC or small wattage heater for small space emergencies.
If done right, it can be scaled up but than max wattage from solar has to be utilized for bigger battery systems.
I will update if I notice any hints or recommendations that should be noted.
I cannot say anything on long term at this point as I have had it hooked up for only 3 days now, but I am Impressed, this unit really puts out MPPT faster than my Epever and in comparison better than my Epever 4210AN with MT50 remote, which costs a bit more. Only complaint is no back light and no clock. I would say its a good bang for your buck. I am however running this unit on 2x12V open lead acid DC batteries, so I dont know how it performs with a Lifepo4. Considering its price, it doesnt have many settings or info, so pretty basic, in User settings one can make some changes. To sum it up its easy to hook up and use out of the box. Ok update 4 weeks in still amazing unit still out performing my Epever piece of crap.
